Here is almost free of boxes...
in the house anyway.
The patio is another story.
Here is the biggest home we've ever lived in...
with more closets to fill, more carpet to vaccuum, twice as many windows as our last home and more counters to clean.
But I'm not complaining.
Here is lots of phone calls...
church business, a refrigerator that doesn't quite work and we haven't really given the number out yet.
There's still a lot to wrap up - pictures that need homes, an empty space behind the dining room table that I'm stumped by, and lots and lots of organizing. And with a new home comes a new normal, a new daily order...something I've yet to discover.
All in all, we feel very settled - perhaps the quickest I've ever felt settled in a home.
Here, I have a sense like I've never had before that God has placed us in this home for a reason and a purpose, and I look forward to exploring it.
Here is wonderful.
Here is home.
I began "following" you from when you sold beautiful scrapbook pages on eBay. You blog inspires me to trust, and be still. To know and believe that God has ultimate timing and a wonderful plan awaiting all of us. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. God has given you multiple talents, and as much as I miss seeing your scrapbook pages, the gift of words He has blessed you with is wonderful. May God continue to bless you and your family in all you do!

Christine - thank you so very much for your sweet comment. I am hoping to be sharing my work on eBay again soon, but at a much slower pace as I work to figure out where exactly God is calling me to be and do right now.
