What is a motnie?, you ask...

 
Why, quite simply it's what my two year old self called jack o'lanterns.

 
I have a feeling I thought I was saying monster.

 
I had a few speech issues. 

 

My children don't seem to have any such pumpkin related issues, and carved some pretty adorable jack o'lanterns this year.

 

 Of course, they're pretty adorable too.
