One new recipe to try this week and several of our old favorites. My body is telling me I want soups and stews, but the weather is telling me it's going to be upper 80's.
Ick.
It's been busy, busy around here but I think we're finally heading into a bit of a lull, and I'm thankful for that. And this business has had me turning to more packaged/processed gluten-free foods, which I know aren't my best choices. Somehow, the fruits and vegetables I normally love have fallen out of my diet. Time to get them back in!
Monday
Mongolian Beef
Brown Rice
Broccoli
*make extra rice for tomorrow night's gratin
I'll be making a few adjustments to the recipe - and I will share when we like it.
Tuesday
Grilled Herbs de Provence Chicken
Zucchini and Brown Rice Gratin
I finally made a few weeks ago after having it on the menu plan several times - oh.my.heck, it is amazing! I'm going to make a slightly larger batch so I have leftovers for lunch =)
Wednesday
Eat at church
Thursday
Lasagna
Broccoli
the lasagna has been on the menu for weeks and keeps getting bumped. It's an easy/cheaper lasagna recipe that I got from my grandmother that we all love and I'll share it if I can ever get it made to take a photo! I'll be making it with rice pasta.
Friday
Hamburgers
Grilled Potatoes
Squash
homemade buns for the family, "naked" for me
Saturday
Cream of Tomato Soup
Grilled Cheese
Carrot Sticks
Hanna and I had the soup last week, and it was delicious! It looks like we're going to have a warm week (boo!) followed by a cooler weekend - time for soup. I'll be using Udi's bread for my grilled cheese.
Sunday
Halloween - Trunk or Treat at church
This post will be linked to Organizing Junkie's Menu Plan Monday and Dining with Debbie's Whats on the Menu Wednesdays. Looking for meal inspiration? They're great places to visit!
