Sunday Silence

I just keep coming back to thought this lately....over and over...

Hurry is the great enemy of spiritual life in our day.  Hurry can destroy our soul. 
Hurry can keep us from living well...
For many, the great danger is not that we will renounce our faith.
It is that we will become so distracted and rushed and preoccupied that we will settle
for a mediocre version of it.

I think Jesus gave us the perfect focus for an unhurried life when He said,

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' 
The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
There is no commandment greater than these."
