The car is home.
We are $200 poorer.
I had a few lovely cries yesterday.
And woke up to some impressive dark circles under my eyes today.
We have been lovingly surrounded by friends in prayer and service and I am so incredibly grateful.
God is still God, He is still good, He is still sovereign, and all things still happen within His plan and time.
And sometimes, that is a very good thing to remember.
Onto more important things than fretting about cars...like creating and laundry and sick girls and more praying and researching about homeschooling.
More about that very soon.

Sweet Sam, I am so sorry that you've had some misfortune in the past couple of days. My prayers are with you. I'm interested in the Bible study you are preparing curriculum for. From looking at the books you've purchased, I'm assuming it's a ladies' study? We have a monthly ladies' Bible class and we each take a turn with the lessons, so I'm always on the lookout for a good topic. Our small town congregation is tiny, so there are only a handful of us ladies, but we're a close knit group and I enjoy our studies together. I hope you find the resources and support you need with homeschooling. I have several friends who homeschool and I homeschooled my daughter for her high school years. Those friends were invaluable in their support and advice. My daughter and I have discussed it for my grandson when he's ready for school too. Hugs my sister! ~ Cindy

Wow! This is such a crazy story...and it made me think about what you are on the right track of...the homeschooling? The new curriculum? The things you are trying to teach your children? becuase its as thought the devil is surely trying to derail you! Becuase this is a CRAZY story! BUT God IS still God and He IS still SO SO good. I will say an extra prayer for you, my friend. Fight the good fight! And onward...
On the dark circles...have you tried the Loreal stuff yet? I use it when I travel!!

Sam! Oh my goodness I can't even imagine! I pray that one day, once this has all been sorted out and fully resolved, you and Tom will look back on it and laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. Because it is quite ridiculous. What a crazy thing to have experienced!
And as far as the car tags/plates...I'm once again reminded how glad I am to have a western girl planted in the southeast. I too am always confused about the tag thing. I just don't get it. But I'm glad that you don't get it with me, and that you get my love of Publix and other southern things. :)
I pray for many calm days to come for you!
