Getting Started

Trying to get started with packing. 

Not really looking forward to this part.

I'm rather obsessively number each box, which corresponds to a chart I made.  We'll see how long that lasts.

Caleb was amazed yesterday that we have to pack up and take everything with us - I think he must have thought we  leave it all here.

Once I explained that, no, we have to pack up everything in this house and take it to the new one, he was quite insistent I pack up his room.

Immediately.

Because, in his words, "I got all sorts of junk that I need in there!"

Of course, he also told me the other day, that when he grows up, he wants to be "the best monster truck driver in the world"... gosh, that's exactly the sort of career I was hoping he'd go into!

I'm trying to work into a schedule where I work on my layouts in the morning while he's at school, and then spend a few hours organizing and packing each afternoon. 

At least, until I get totally burned out :)
